Private and small group tuition

I am often asked if I give private tuition. Usually the answer is an apologetic no. Over the last year though, it got me thinking why not!
I often chat to really interesting people at the shows that I am privileged to be part of. Many are really keen to know more - how do I do this or that - how is the picture taken - why can't I do that? I've got a decent camera - my prints don't turn out like that - what am I doing wrong? In the end I usually end up giving brief 'on the spot' tuition. First of all it's not the camera, the camera is just a tool used to get the picture. More importantly its 'how we see' that needs to be learned.
For 2011, I am offering private and small group tuition. Let me know if you are interested and I will get in touch with you. I am looking to give my students the benefit of thirty years experience in photography and the graphic arts at a price that won't break the bank!
